Green School Slogans


Our Green School Committee is hard at work! They organised a whole school slogan competition to come up with the slogan we will use this year as we work towards our 4th Green Flag. These are the winners:

 3rd class-
 3rd place- Katie Fox with her slogan ‘Don’t drive to school, you’ll save more fuel!’
2nd place- Leigha O’Boyle with her slogan ‘Don’t waste fuel, walk to school!’            
1st place- Adam O’Brien with his slogan ‘When travelling to school don’t waste fuel, remember the rule and always carpool!’ 
4th class
 3rd place- David Mullis with his slogan. ‘Reduce CO-2 and start walking to school!’ 2nd place- Paul Molloy with his slogan.  ‘Less driving, more walking!’
 1st place- Caoimhe O’Reilly with her slogan. ‘Walk, you’ll save fuel and you’ll feel cool!’
 5th class-
 4th place- Lauren Roberts with her slogan. ‘Fuel ruins the ozone layer, can we please stop and care!’
 3rd place- Eva Gallagher with her slogan. ‘Walk, cycle, run its fun!’
 2nd place -
Hugh Lane
with his slogan. ‘Stride, don’t ride!’
1st place- Shane Mullins with his slogan.
‘If your not going far, don’t use your car!’                                                                                                       6th class-
 2nd place- Sam Mc Ardle and Luke Butler with their slogan ‘Don’t waste fuel on your way to school, be cool and use a car pool!’ 1st place- Emma Trowell and Jacinta Long and their slogan ‘Be eco cool by saving fuel, why not walk or cycle to school!’
 All of the slogans are fantastic. Out of the whole school, the overall winners were Emma Trowell and Jacinta Long from 6th class.
