Garda Cup Results 22/10/10

Team A

Killeeneen National School played Labane in the 1^st game.

Mark Kennedy, Paddy Culhane, Sam McArdle, Oisín Connolly, TJ Brennan and Mikey Culhane all scored. The score was K.N.S  6-07 to Labanes 0-0.

K.N.S then played Kinvara, we beat them by 2 goals and 7 points

Evan Niland, Paddy Culhane and Oisín Connolly scored.

In our 3^rd game the semi-final we played Gort.

Evan Niland, Paddy and Mikey Culhane, Oisín Connolly and Mark Kennedy scored.

We won that game by 5 goals and 10 points to Gort’s 1 point.

The FINAL was played against Craughwell.

Evan Niland, Paddy Culhane, Sam McArdle, Oisín Connoly, Mark Kennedy and TJ Brennan all scored.  The score was 6-13 to-0-03

After that we got to lift the GARDA CUP for the 4^th YEAR in a row!!

Team B played Craughwell in their 1^st game.  Conor Fox, Ultan Shearan, Adam Clarke, Robert Downes and Michael Fitzgerald all scored.  They played Peterswell in their second game.  They reached the semi-final against Loughrea/ Kilnadeima/ Leitrim and won so they made it to the FINAL.

 In the final they played a stronger Kinvara team.  Conor Fox, Ultan Shearan, Adam Clarke, Robert Downes, Michael Fitzgerald Shane Donoghue and Shane Feeney all scored in the final.  Unfortunately they lost.  Andrew O’Boyle was in the goal and saved an UNBEILIVABLE BREATHTAKING PENALTY AND BROKE HIS ARM!!!!!!!
